An API is a set of IT protocols that makes it possible for InvestAllocator to securely and efficiently connect with your brokerage and help you to automate your routine portfolio operations

Trade access is needed if you'd like to automate your trading and rebalancing. With access, our system will calculate all parameters required for rebalancing and will ask for your permission to execute. You remain in full control of all trades since the system ALWAYS displays expected trades to you and asks your permission to execute.
If you do not want to use this feature, simply go to settings and remove trading access

InvestAllocator works as a robot that automates your own strategy/trading. You define the rules, while we help you to execute in the most efficient manner and without time wasting. We do not provide investment recommendations in the form of advices or trades.
Additionally, before executing any trading on your behalf, InvestAllocator always shows you the trading details and asks for your permission to proceed

No, InvestAllocator does not store login credentials to your broker.

To link your account to InvestAllocator, we initiate a secure authorization process with your brokerage, where you log in to your brokerage account as always and then grant us a secure access token. InvestAllocator gets all the information it needs through this token from your broker. This token does not contain/store your login credentials or any personal data
